One of the hardest (but most important) parts of growing your business is getting people to subscribe to your email list. Not only do we want them to subscribe, we want them to stay subscribed, and more than that, engage with your emails.
So, what’s the secret?
How do you get subscribers to opt-in and then stay subscribed?
It’s actually very simple.
Step 1: Provide something of value to incentivize them to subscribe. That’s your opt-in.
Step 2: Continue to provide value in your regular emails.
The key? VALUE.
Consumers want to get the most they possibly can for free. That means we have to deliver to their needs and desires PRIOR to ever selling to them.
Repeat after me, “My potential clients will not convert to paid clients if I haven’t proven my value to them“.
Now, I know what you’re thinking… but this takes a lot of work to do that to each potential client.
The thing is, IT DOESN’T!
This entire process of providing a free opt-in and following up with valuable content is called a FUNNEL. And funnels can be automated to the point where you have to do absolutely nothing except sit back and watch the subscribers roll in and convert.
Even though they may not be ready to purchase or convert to a paid client just yet, the continued value you provide your potential clients in your regular emails is going to keep you top of mind, so when they are ready to convert, they come running in your direction with credit cards flying.
